Midnight Sun was founded in July 1990. So we are coming up on our 20th anniversary. We should do something special.

I'd like to check the city ordinances for Plano and see if we can hold a Bellypalooza and drum jam. Got drums?

We have set a date for our 20 year celebration: July 17.

Summary: If we want the gazebo, it will be $25, plus a $75 deposit, and the time slot would be 3:00 on. 2:00 to 3:00 is apparently not a time slot.

And it looks like we can avoid a special event permit as long as we don't set up a stage, set up a tent, or obscruct anything, while having more than 50 attendees. Do we have/want tents?

We should start planning the event. As incoming monarch, did you want to plan it? or did you want to let that event planning household take care of it?

I'm open for ideas on:

- games, tournaments
- refreshments and feast (weather permitting)
- bardic activities

My thinking was battlegame early, brief court around 3:00 when the pavillion becomes ours, then ditching and performance.

I am proposing the following schedule.

12:00 Picnic
1:00 Tournament - Single sword, sword and board, and double sword
2:00 Full class battlegame
3:00 Court (gazebo)
3:30 Informal bardic (gazebo), ditching to commence at the pleasure of all
4:30 Full class battlegame
5:30 Feasting and snacking (gazebo)
6:30 Clean-up, go home

I am trying to find out more about cooking, heating, and serving food at the park, which may constrain our options.

It was a blast! With guest appearances by some of the true and purple Crawling Chaos folks. DarkAngel and Alleycat provided some scrumptious feast with assists from a couple others! The chocolate cake was super duper.

MS also had the pleasure of having Tzar DarkTigger's support.

Got to meet a lot of new faces and catch up with a slew of old ones. I have a blast and congratulate Midnight Sun for accomplishing a ridiculously awesome feat. 20yrs. Wow.

Artus Pass made a humble but very visible showing. Thank you Sheriff Aria for making a visit up to MS and to Lily for providing/donating memorable event favors to the fine folks of MS.

And a mighty Huzzah to those who received much deserved awards recognizing their tireless efforts in ensuring the kingdom and her people are taken care of.

Sho nuf!

It was lots of fun. I can't thank everyone enough for making our 20th something special.
