Does the 5th level druid enchantment "Regenerate" work more than once or will it heal only one wound ever? Either way, will a player carrying this enchanment who is wounded once in the torso come back to life in a 50 count or will he just leave a healthy corpse?

Copy and Past of "Regeneration"

Regeneration (E, Spirit)

C:Druid 5

M:Enchantment cloth, player

I:Repeat x5, “Endless health unto thee,” tie cloth to person.

E:Players bearing this enchantment will Heal any wound, one at
a time, in a 50 count and are immune to poison. The player
must chant this duration out loud in order to heal a wound.
You may not chant to heal a wound unless you are already
wounded. Ceasing the chant will cause the chant count to
restart at zero.

L:You must be alive to gain the benefits of this enchantment.
Will not work on armor of any sort.

Actual answer:

The phrase "one at a time" implies it will work for the duration of
your life. So, yes, it will heal more than one wound.

You will not come back from being hit in the torso, as
that is a kill shot and you are no longer alive.

Further, if you are wounded and counting your regeneration,
but haven't finished it, another wound will kill you.

Thanks for the response. My copy of the rulebook does not read like that. Guess I need to download a more current version.

Actually there isn't a more current version, the changes were posted in an errata sheet on the official amtgard site:

Thangorn,

1) Elder's name is in orange because he is a board administrator. Until his role in the forums changes, his name will be orange. And if you're having a hard time seeing his name because you're using the SubIce Orange filter, that's your own problem.

2) Of course he doesn't have a gender. He's married. Wait until it happens to you. ;)

Actually there is a more current version of the rulebook. I downloaded it just before the birthday bash event. I haven't checked to see if everything was updated but the regeneration spell was deffinatly worded differently than the one I had been using.

Greydon, check the armor section.

If it says -1 on the table for superior construction, then don't use it.

When they went back to add they errata info, they found the original file had been corrupted. They had to re-do everything and several mistakes were made.

Instead use the old rule book with this page.

Looks like we will see a resurgance of plastic and tires, just so we can avoid that nasty little -1 :p

If only it were that simple. Plastic and tires would still get you points knocked off for in-authentic materials.

In order to get full value, you would have to use metal or leather as normal. You just have to make sure you do a mediocer job.

Make something really good and we'll have to dock you a point so that you don't get an ego about your armouring skills.
