Any more info about the Masquerade Ball?
Any certain time frame of personas? Costumes?
I DO know that it's going to be one HECK of a HOT event...so everyone needs to take THAT into account when they are planning their costumes and outfits.
Any input from our Monarch and Regent?

actually, I have alot of input...lol. First, we want to purchase 12 sheets of plywood (marine grade) and enough 2x4's to frame them for a dance floor. These will be painted in a checkerboard pattern and will be used for future events to place an actual floor in the center of the feast area. This will help should we have another mud reign. These floors should be fairly light and after will be able to be stacked and stored for future events. These 12 sheets will give us a 16x24 dance/court floor. Time frame will be our usual pre 1650 and costumes are completely up to the populace. We will be using masks as gate favors so everyone will have one, but I would like to see people take the time to make or decorate their own mask. I will speak with Zelodie and see if perhaps we couldn't have a mask decoration contest. Im hoping to have music and entertainment for us to enjoy, and would really like to see folks dancing.
I agree that it will possibly be pretty hot, in that regards, I would like to push our feast time back to closer to dark and would like to see the area decorated with torches, strung lights, etc, to add to the ambiance. 3Jugs, I have some other ideas I would like to discuss with you off line about this.
I know Zelodie has plenty of other ideas for what we hope will be a memorable night for all of us.

I too, have some ideas for lighting for this gathering.
And I think I have already chosen my character for the ball....
So since that's already out of the way, I'm open to help you with what I can.
