A hearty congratulations to Cuisinart of the CORSAIRS for being selected for this year's season of Houston Roller Derby (www.houstonrollerderby.com). She and over 30 women competed for spots in the league. No suprise to any who know Cuisi, she was totally selected.

The new crop this year will soon be drafted into one of four Houston teams. Cuisi hopes to make it onto the Machette Betties because they are cooler than you.

Cuisi puts out a call toSir Drakknar, the league needs an announcer and she thought first of you. Also, to Sponge, Sirs Target and Kamden, they need reffs.

The bouts are on the third sunday of each month starting in March at the Verizon center, downtown Houston. Get paid in boobs.

She wants to call herself "Panty Raider" which is fine I suppose, but not perfect. I thought she should stick with Cuisinart (duh!), but she seems intent on something different and the best I can come up with is Belle Icose-Gruff. So any suggestions would be great. I spoke to Theo this weekend while I was down in San Antonio. He said that he was asked to work as a referee for some league out of SA. With my exp in this crap I would jump at a chance to do that.
