I'll reeve if I'm allowed to wear my blinders.

I'll reeve if I can pass the test before Saturday.

Also, don't forget that if you want to have a dagger event, you'll probably need to provide daggers. Mine is 7.0 legal, it'll be there.

(For that matter, it might be safer if you provided padded gloves for the dagger event, too.)

Why would you need to pass a test before you can reeve a tourney? Its not a battle game, its not even a WBW thing. Its just a tourney. I can reeve a tourney without ever having to open a rule book.

I agree that it shouldn't be required; I just assumed it was required. I'd be more than happy to reeve the tourney without proving that I know what a scout is immune to.

In my experience it seems that a lot of people who would/could reeve, a simple test on paper should not be the only qualfier for such a job. A willingness to speak up and call even their friends shots is far more important than the ability to decifer the different schools of magic.

To many times in the past have the stick jocks had to suffer through a tourney with weak knee, slack jaw reeves. The only test a tourney reeve should have to pass is a test to see if they have a spine.

I would be pleased to no longer be approached for the job of tourney reeve simply because folks know I had to pass the test in order to hold park office.

I think the biggest disadvantage we have is that many folks who would be skilled at the job are also wishing to fight. I will leave it to the affected to determine the most equitable resolution for that issue.

Apparently my boss has access to our calendar and once again the suits have declared that I can't have any fun this weekend. Or at least the first part of it. I was informed today that this Saturday will be a work day for me. Frigging short month, but the same monthly quota. So I will not be able to reeve the first day but I should still be able to reeve the second day.
