Oh, esteemed masses,

When decorating the cover of a shield, do you find standard fabric paints to be effective? How durable do they last, considering the amount of bashing they take on the field? Or there alternatives that you have found work better?

Fabric paints have worked pretty well for me for decoration. I've found that the flat works better than anything that puffs. I think paints should be fine. I use them all the time with freezer paper stencils. The other method I could recommend is applique. Wonder Under is one of my favorite crafting supplies.

I like the design. Either fabric paint or applique should work without issues.
