"Something is fishy here." Forest said as they apporached the Royal pavillion.

"It was their own wives, Sir. They are in the jail cells now." Draeven replied as he lead the escort of armed guards.

Forest still wasn't sure what the ploy was. Did they think he would pay a reward to the family of these wanted men? Did they think he would be moved to overlook their offenses if they had women and children around? What was their plan?

Forest took his seat inside the pavillion and looked at his guard. Five able and battle tested men. It should be enough. "Bring in Seal. And ensure he is unarmed and bound."

Seal was brought from the cell with his wrists tied behind his back. "You are accused of sacking King's Point and attacking its people."

"You said to bring in Delphos. Is not harboring an enemy of the crown treason?" Seal replied.

"It is for me to determine what is treason. If these people had drawn swords and sworn to protect Delphos, then you would have just cause. My reports indicate that this is not the case for many of those slain."

Seal continued to try and justify the attack, but kept refusing to accept that the attack had been an injustice to the people of the Point. Finally Forest asked him directly "Do you repent for the crimes you committed against King's Point?" All he needed to do was say yes, and this could be done. He would be made to make ammends to KP and this whole mess would be over. But he refused.

"So you refuse to repent of your crimes?" Forest again demanded. Seal simply stated he had committed no crime.

There was no option left. Forest summoned his Champion to remove the offenders head. His body was taken out so that the others could see the punishment for injustice, and so his own could see to reviving him with their own healers.

Next came the ring leader, Kenta Redhawk...

As Seal before him, Kenta came in with his wrists bound. As befitting a Knight of the realm, a small page accompanied him. Forest was uneasy about the boys presence. He was too young to see bloodshed should it come to that. But he hoped that Kenta would be more reasonable than his companion before him.

"Kenta, do you repent of your crimes against King's Point?" It was the same question, with the same response. Worse so, Kenta tried to lunge at Forest but his bindings slowed him and the guard dragged him away from the Royal table.

Forest could not get him to see reason. Kenta continued to say that he was following the orders of the Monarchy to bring Delphos to justice. Forest tried to remind him of the talk at Mourningwood Glen. How he had told Kenta that the peoples of KP were not to be harmed. But Kenta would not hear it. He continued on about agreements and contracts. When pressed to produce such documents, he returned to claiming he was following a royal decree. Again, Forest had no choice. He called for the champion. And as Everlast raised his sword, all hell broke loose.

The Saracens had been gathering outside for a surprise attack against the crown. Everlast's blade stopped in mid swing as he turned to face the attackers. For a few moments, it seemd the attackers were pinned at the doorway, unable to advance. Then the unthinkable. A Justicar lead the assault into the pavillion. The Justicars had always fought for the crown. Had always be on the side of Justice. But it seemed blood was thicker than water.

Kestral was in a berserk rage and rushed the Royal Guard. He was killed, but not before taking some with him and opening the way for the rest of the Saracens to attack. The high court was slain to the last man.

When Forest sat up gasping for air, he realized that he had been ressurected and remembered what had happened. Those servants who had hidden during the attack claimed that Kenta had proclaimed himself innocent and condemned Forest as an Oathbreaker.

Forest just smiled as the rest were brought back from the halls of the dead.

"Gather all the guard, and those loyal to the Crown. The Redhawk Rebellion is about to see what justice looks like!""

Anxious for battle after being blind-sided by a vicious polearm, Connor snapped awake with blood shot eyes after his spirit was returned to his body. The memory of the world turning side ways and dozens of feet crunching his bones in a trampling march was all too fresh in his memory. After forcing himself to sit up, his arms quivered under his weight. Draeven, who had been standing over him muttering the words to give life back to the Squire, set a stable hand on his shoulder.

"Easy, friend. You just came back from oblivion. You will need your strength to carry out the Czar's justice..." Draeven spoke with a calm and somewhat jestful tone.

All around him he noted the other's who had fallen and even more drawn into the command of the Emerald Army. After gaining a few moments of respite, Connor was on his feet and heading to his caravan not far. With the help of another, he donned his equipment and made his way back to his belted family. There he helped Typhus armor Sir Forest tightly and listened to the

The Royal force marched towards the Saracen encampment. They were not being stealthy. They were not being subtle. They were marching to war.

When they arrived, the Bumblebee contingent was standing near the Saracen camp. Sir Larin bellowed "Declare what side you are on!"

The Bees looked around nervously, but made no real answer. "Declare!" he roared again, to the same response. Forest turned to the crew from Eagleshire "This is a war. Either you are here to support your Czar, or you are against me. Which is it? Answer now!" They backed up a few steps, but refused to answer.

"Enough!" Forest called to his troops. "Eliminate them." A few of the Royal guards advanced towards the Bees and they broke formation and ran from the fight. Now Fotrest could focus his attention on the Rebellion. As they apporached, a few Saracen allies teleported away, but many stayed behind, weapons ready. Kestral appeared and

Sir Larin looked at him warily. "Justicars ALWAYS fight for the crown. Don't they?" Kestral nodded. "I am with the Czar."

The Royal forces made quick work of the defenders. Then regrouped to look for those that escaped. As they started searching, Sir Kenta approached. "We will not run, but we ask that our children be spared. Let us take this fight to the field of battle and away from our camp." Forest agreed and the two groups gathered on the war field.

The Saracens stood their ground, only Seal lay down his weapons and surrendered. The rest were put down along with the "Redhawk Rebellion."

"Perhaps that will teach them a lesson." Forest said as they left the field. "We shall see."

TigerHawke sat amid her small office deep in the caves of Red Storm. The once neat and tidy space was now filled with stacks of scrolls from every far flung town that looked to The Emerald Hills for protection. Records of the quarterly population mostly. She was spending hours sending out messenger hawks to those that had been negligent in sending them in, yet her mind kept turning to the scrying bowl. Red Storm's only fast way of obtaining information, yet even that source was not entirely accurate, especially when trying to see what was going on with the Tzar. Sneeking a peek with so many high level wizards tossing magic around was difficult at the best of times. A clear image was practically impossible. Word also came through to the North via traders from down south or from those that traveled to enjoy the bounty of the Tzar's feasts. In fact, she and Ghosttiger had recently enjoyed such an event.
Rumor swirled amid two days of festivities. The biggest news was that the Saracens had not produced Sir Delphos as promised, but word was that the Tzar had attempted to transport the wanted man to his jails. Nothing was truly clear to her in this area and she disliked speculation. Where was Sir Delphos?
Worst of all at the festivities, the Tzar had marched his forces and slaughtered the Saracens for their dissasterous actions at King's Point when capturing Sir Delphos. TigerHawke recalled a snippet of news brought to her from the south mentioning that Sir Kenta Redhawk had said in a message: "The Village of King's Point has been punished for harboring the traitor. Their deaths show the extent of your ire, and ressurection the bounty of your mercy."
Yet here was a further dilemma, no where was there ever an actual price mentioned from the Tzar for bringing Sir Delphos in. Trust Exile to think like the mercenary he was and spread the word of vast riches for his Saracens, she thought grimly. This lead her to recall that Kenta had been turned over to the Tzar by his lovely wife, Crimson, after his ressurection after the Tzar's retribution.
She knew Sir Kenta was now calling the Tzar an 'oath breaker' ...she had heard it from his own lips. Did she put this utterance down to his being brought back from the dead by magic and the subsequent imbibing of multiple cups of beer afterwards? He was none too steady on his feet at that point in the evening.
With no reward ever offered by the Tzar, just how could he break an oath? She hoped that the Tzar would remember that she was now a part of his council and fill her in with what was actually going on. From there she could do her own silent watching from a far better vantage point.
