Eniad sat in his small study on the peak of the small mountain over looking Artus Pass. The small candle on his desk suddenly flared up warning the mage that there was a visitor approaching. Eniad called for the internal flames prepared for the worse. Upon opening his door he could see the telltale colors of his new company walking up his path. The initiate looked tired.
“Mr. Eniad,” The initiate stated as he handed Eniad a letter, “The Chieftain and the War Speaker both request your presence.”
Eniad took the letter and read it over carefully. It appears that all of the Saracens are gathering on King’s Point.
“This should be fun.” Eniad thought to himself as he turned to give the initiate new instructions.

Eniad walked to the upper floor of his study and began to grab the necessary equipment for his trips. Books of healing magic littered his work desks. After scouring through his organized Chaos, Eniad finally found all the necessary components and scrolls needed for his journey to Saracen City. Standing in his teleportation Circle the Mage began to imprint in his mind the night he received his Mark and smiled as he shifted through the Aether and into his small abode inside the City. Eniad always enjoyed the walk from his small yurt to the Chieftain’s Stronghold. Eniad had not felt this much at home since the Early Days of Artus Pass’ founding.

It was over two years after his arriving in the Kingdom that the Chieftain Exile, invited Eniad to the initiate into the Saracen Tribe Templar at the Great War of Banners. Because of previous coercion from Sir Kenta Redhawk and others, Eniad proudly accepted the trials and eventually won the favor of Company members to receive his Mark of the “S”. Eniad proudly dons his new families colors and hopes that one day he will help shape the company into being one of the greatest companies in the Emerald Hills.

After walking through the growing populace of the City Eniad provided his Invitation to the initiate guards Sieg and PJ. Walking through the gates of the Chieftain’s Stronghold Eniad saw other Members of the company entering the Great Hall. Eniad casually made his way into the Great Hall and saw the current members of his tribe all gathered for whatever it was the Chieftain and War Speaker had to say.
As the murmurs from the crowd settled the Chieftain Exile stands from his seat. “Today we march on the Barony of King’s Point. We have been tasked by the King of the Emerald Hills, Czar Forest Evergreen, to capture the Captain of Sable Pride, Sir Delphos Darkheart. We know that the Cats play at the Point. We also know that the members of Kings Point will not give him up. But we will march as we are paid to do. “ There was an excited buzz in the air at the announcement of our new job. One of the largest quarry to date and we all knew it would not be an easy task. Our War Speaker, Sir Kenta Redhawk, stood and began to give more specific instructions as to what exactly will take place.

We were told we will march on King’s Point on the Day of our Brother’s Coronation as Baron. We were given specific instructions on our tasks for the day and how they were to unfold. Everyone was given their assignments. Eniad was given the assignment of using my newly re-acquired healing magic as support for the day. It had been a few long years since Eniad had wielded the power of the Light and was excited and confused that his combat casting would not be needed. Knowing that the company’s primary Healers, Gabriel and Virgil will not be on the march, made Eniad nervous.

Eniad spent the few weeks going over scroll after scroll of healing magic eventually mastering the primary healing spell and the resurrection spell so badly needed in times of war and with the hunt for Sir Delphos in full swing this is task was nothing short of a war. Every day Sir Kenta worked with his tribe to prepare them for what was to come. Exile and his personal initiates extracted information from various peasants and vagabonds from the area surrounding King’s Point to try and pinpoint the Dark Knight. Days before the arrival of the Company at King’s Point members of the Company got together to celebrate life and the coming battle. They remembered those who came before and discussed those who will rise in the future. Eniad slept that night to dreams of victory and images of blood and darkness covering the Hills.

The day finally came the tribe Templar arrived just before the announcement of the Coronation of their Brother Shamus the Green. There were tournaments held by the new Champion Sir Fytakin Killzmany to help raise money for their Barony and the Kingdom’s coffers. Numerous artisans had gathered to show off their wares and the Saracens smiled at their fortune. They listened to the Champion state new rules for their land. Then they heard their Brother begin his speech. He spoke of the changes that will be made under his reign. He then called the Saracen War Speaker, Sir Kenta, to the podium. Sir Kenta began his speech on building an new era. Eniad’s muscles twitched, preparing for the keyword that would prompt the Saracens to action. Suddenly the phrase leaped from the War Speakers lips. The Saracens jumped into action slaughtering every member of the aristocracy except for those previously designated. The War Speaker then ordered the company to begin raising the dead and reminded the members of the Barony that The Saracens will be watching them. The Champion Sir Fytakin laughed at the situation and then ordered the festivities to begin.

Members of Sable Pride were mingling among the lesser citizens and Exile gathered the veteran members of the Company to keep their eyes peeled for Sir Delphos. During one of the Tournaments Eniad and Artemis were working together to improve Eniad’s skill with Sword & Madu when Sir Avatar emerged from the tree line taunting his Squire and Eniad. In laughter the Saracen’s moved to chatter and spar with the aging Knight when suddenly the tree lined opened up with a small detachment of Sable Pride members rushing the two Saracen members. Eniad and Artemis brought weapons to bear in the Chaos they saw Sir Delphos in the flood of Silver and Black. Eniad went to shout for his Brothers and Sisters of the Moon and Star to arms when he felt Sir Delphos’ Javelin pierce the right side of his chest. Crumpling to the ground fighting to breathe and clutching at the mortal wound Eniad’s last vision was that of Sir Kenta, Exile, and The Saracens rushing to join the fray. As the light faded from his vision and the calm of death slowly descended upon him he heard a familiar voice begin. “Sword cut, spear stab, mace smash, arrow jab. Let the…” Unconsciousness fell over the Mage.

Eniad did not know how long he had blacked out. He awoke to see members of the Company surrounding his and Artemis’ body. Slowly he stood up with the help of Jordan Redhawk son to Sir Kenta. He watched as Shamus the Green put the orb of healing back into his pouch as he finished the incantation to bring back the young Initiate Artemis into the land of the living. After getting their wits the War Speaker barked commands to the company as they descended into the woods and the Lair of the Cats. Eniad could hear battles break out in many directions. Eniad, the Initiate Darksun, Sir Kenta, Master Seal and Jordan headed deeper into the heart of the forest. They could hear the war cries from their Chieftain to the West of their location they heard other Saracens to the South and east slinging magic and working together. A smile formed upon Eniad’s face as the magic begin filling his body.

Fighting to keep the internal flames down and remembering his job as a Healer today, the mage began to recall spells to memory in case they were needed quickly. Suddenly A crash was heard from directly in front of the group. An almost other worldly wail filled their ears as the Dark Knight broke from the brush and lunged to touch Darksun. Eniad could feel the Death Magic fill the air as Sir Delphos went to place a touch of death on the young monk. As Sir Delphos lost his footing in his attack and the magic seemingly not discharged on the initiate. The rest of the Saracens moved to subdue the Captain of Sable Pride. Master Seal wrapped his large arms around the seemingly frail Master Anti-Paladin and began his chant. “Teleport, Teleport, Teleport, Teleport, Teleport..” Eniad watched as the two men faded into the Aether. Suddenly Squire TuK! burst through the underbrush blades brandished in front of him. “Where did you take him!?” He demanded.

“Where do you think good sir.” Sir Kenta replied.

“Eniad you and the others return to resurrect the fallen Members of Sable Pride. Our work is done here. I will speak to TuK! in private.”

Following orders Eniad and the others tended the wounded, resurrected the dead, and began their trek back to the Barony the words of his War Speaker filling his mind. “We are done here.”
