Ok, I promise to come up with a better name soon, but for now, let me talk to you about the November Park Battles.
We are looking at holding a camp-out event near Atoka Oklahoma. This looks to be about 2 hours north of Denton and about 2 hours south of Tulsa. I am trying to find a site that will work out a deal with us on costs, etc. But it looks like I will have to pre-pay in order to ensure we will have campsites all in one area (and possibly a couple air conditioned / heated shelters to be auctioned off)
The event: People will (hopefully) camp with their parks and host a Banner, representing their parks. Teams for the battlegames will be determined by park affiliation. So we may have a North (OK) vs. South (TX) battle. We may run an East/West Battle. We are looking at having 2 parks as "captains" and allowing them a set number of points to "buy" the other parks to fight for them in a merc style battle. Etc.
In addition we want to have some fun games (Warlord Battles, timed events) and tournaments going on and will be serving food for both lunch and dinner on Saturday night.
So here I need an idea of how many people would be interested in attending the 2nd weekend of November (12-14th). Right now the event would be $15 per person, but if I can get a better deal I will lower that.
So who's interested in representing? :)

With WBW, I have not had as much time to work publicly on this, but we are closing in on setting a location. I have heard a lot of excitement from the northern parks, but veery little from the south...

I am hoping to have the fianl details by tonight, but as of now it will be near Atoka and cost $10 per person. If i can get that amount lowered I will. Bear with me 1 more day and hopefully i will have all the details set. :)
