Meeting called to order at 11:22am at 301 Centennial Blvd Richardson, TX 75081.

Old Business

The letter to Mr. Steven Akins regarding Ironcloud was received on September 1, 2006 by Steven Akins. Steven Akins certified letter was returned unclaimed on August 15, 2006. Andréa Jacobs will resend the letter to Steven Akins via regular mail. John Turrentine’s letter regarding Cuiviedor Amarth was returned unclaimed on August 26, 2006. Motion to make no further attempt to contact Cuiviedor Amarth passed 5-0.

Mabank, TX park request tabled.

A CPA reviewed the tax law changes. The Emerald Hills was exempt under the previous law, and remains exempt under current law. The CPA recommends continuing to file returns to avoid tolling of the statute of limitations.

Regarding fundraising: Motion that the board will promulgate standards for legal fundraising passed 5-0.

New Business

A review of the statutory requirements regarding the treasury report tabled until next meeting.
